Stewardship
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. –Is. 40.31

Some think of stewardship as the giving of our financial resources, but stewardship goes much deeper.

As we consider our mission and ministry here at St. Peter's, we also consider the ways that God calls each of us to give generously of ourselves and soar!

We asked that you begin to reflect on taking a forward step or a step of faith in your pledge to this parish

We do this because "Jesus always talks about the need of the giver to give. This is the Bible's stewardship message. We who gather in Jesus' name would do well to follow our Lord's lead." (the Rev. Charles R. Lane)

The purpose of the personal guide is to help us reflect on our giving with suggestions that are within most budgets. A Forward Step is small, but if taken by the majority of us, it is a big, big step for our church.

With it we help sustain the work of our church over the next year and together we grow the grace of giving.

One important thing you can do that really helps us, no matter what your offering, is to return the offering card or make an online pledge (see link below). It is one of the most noble things you can do to help us plan God's work for the year ahead. Thank you for your support of St. Peter's Church.

When Christians resist the power of Mammon by giving away money, money then becomes a sign of grace rather than domination. - David Reid
