The Season of Lent – Resources

Taking the journey of Lent seriously: we are all called to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy word.

These resources available at St. Peter’s:

  • Lenten Prayers
  • Season of Prayer: 40 Days in the Desert
  • Meditations for the Five Sundays in Lent & Palm Sunday
  • Various Pamphlets

Wednesday Evenings
Wednesday nights during Lent, you are invited to a light Supper and Lenten Study at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, and at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 466 Elm Street, Monroe. We begin at 6:30 pm with supper; the program begins around 7 pm. We alternate locations each week.
