    Summer Worship Schedule – One Service at 9:00

    During the summer, we hold one Eucharist service at 9:00 Sunday morning.
    July 16 – Holy Eucharist

    Baking for the Apple Festival has begun! We are always looking for helpers, both in the Parish Kitchen and from home.     Camp Washington Summer Camp

    Camp Washington is the Episcopal Church’s picturesque retreat center in the heart of Litchfield County, and has provided idyllic summer escapes for children and families for 100 years. There are still openings for kids ages 5 to 16 for this summer! Please visit campwashington.org for more info. Rev Kurt will be the chaplain for Teen Camp 2, beginning July 23.

    Sunday, July 30 @ 2:00 – Chapel on the Green

    Join a group from St. Peter’s to assist at Trinity Episcopal of New Haven’s outdoor Chapel on the Green. We will prepare approximately 200 bagged lunches beforehand, then help distribute them following a brief Eucharistic Service on the New Haven Commons. Our group will leave from the St. Peter’s parking lot at 12:45. Please contact the church office for more information.

    Support Brody

    The Discipleship Project

    St Peters Church School Pageant

    St Peter’s Church School

    Children and Youth are part of the life and spirit of St Peter’s Church. On Sundays during the school year, children ages pre-K to teen may attend Church School during the 10:15 Service. The classes help guide them as they learn about the faith and hear stories from the Bible.


    Church School Classes:

    Upstairs (in nursery classrooms):

    • Beulah Land (PK – 1) telling the stories of our faith
    • Godly Play (Grades 2 – 4) godly playing with the stories of our faith

    Downstairs (in Memorial Room):

    • Emmaus (Grades 5 – 9) discovering Jesus in our midst

    Family Sundays are held on selected Sundays throughout the year. Instead of attending Church School, children join in the 10:15 service, which features a Children’s Sermon and a simplified Children’s Liturgy.

    We ask that all church school families complete this brief registration form.

    Adult Bible Studies

    St Peters provides several opportunities throughout the year for adults for learn more about the Bible. Click here for our current study.
