Saturday & Sunday, Nov 1 & 2 – Bishop Sengulane visits from Mozambique!

Our friend Bishop Sengulane from our partner parish in Megumeto, Mozambique, will join us Saturday night at 6pm in the Undercroft for a welcome dinner, and will officiate our All Saint’s services on Sunday, November 2. The 10:15 service will be followed by a festive coffee hour, Bible Study and lunch. Join us for all or some of these rare opportunities to visit with the Bishop and hear the news from Mozambique.

Monday, November 3, 7:00-8:30pm – Book Discussion Group

Join St Peter’s Readers as we talk about The Warmth of Other Suns, by Isabel Wilkerson. Wine and snacks abound, and new readers are always welcome.

    Saturday, November 8, 2:00-10:00pm – Scrapbooking Event

St Peter’s provides the perfect opportunity to complete your scrapbooking project in a fun, encouraging environment. Bring your photos and supplies and we will provide all the tools and inspiration. Both beginners and experienced scrapbookers are welcome, as are digital scrapbookers. Cost is $30, and includes dinner, beverages, and snacks; plus the use of circuit machines, ample table space, break out sessions, and the chance to swap ideas and materials with fellow scrapbookers.  Please RSVP by Nov 3 to the church office. St Peter’s Church School

Children and Youth are part of the life and spirit of St Peter’s Church. On Sundays during the school year, children ages pre-K to teen may attend Church School during the 10:15 Service. The classes help guide them as they learn about the faith and hear stories from the Bible.

    Church School Classes:

    Upstairs (in nursery classrooms):

    • Beulah Land (PK – 1) telling the stories of our faith
    • Godly Play (Grades 2 – 4) godly playing with the stories of our faith

    Downstairs (in Memorial Room):

    • Emmaus (Grades 5 – 9) discovering Jesus in our midst

Family Sundays are held on selected Sundays throughout the year. Instead of attending Church School, children join in the 10:15 service, which features a Children’s Sermon and a simplified Children’s Liturgy.

We ask that all church school families complete this brief registration form.
